WORKSHOP
How to Use Your Personal Manifesto
Here are some ways to use your Personal Manifesto for Intentional Living:
Review your Manifesto as a re-centering practice at the beginning of each new year:
Journal on the following prompts (tell your Inner Critic to "go in the other room for a few minutes, please"):
- Are my Values the same? Has one become more important to me than another?
- Has What is Most Important to Me changed?
- In the past year, have I compromised on my value system in any way? What were the circumstances? How did it make me feel? What can I do to re-enforce my commitment to living in alignment with my own value system?
- Have I been Living as My Best Self? Where have I compromised? Why have I done so? Are there any trends in the ways and why's around these decisions? What more enduring actions can I take to stay in alignment going forward?
- Where have I set aside taking action on my Legacy Mission? What got in the way? If Resistance showed up, what fear may be the root cause of the blockage?
Make decisions that align with your Manifesto.
When you are presented with a big decision, ask yourself:
- Of all the choices in front of me, which ones are in integrity with my Highest Values?
- Of all the choices in front of me, which ones are in alignment with What is Most Important to me?
- Of all the choices in front of me, how would I feel if I chose one that was out of alignment with my Manifesto?
- What else may be possible that I have not considered that is in alignment with my Highest Values?
Keep a journal throughout the year and highlight the ways you have re-enforced your commitment daily. Celebrate your progress!
What blessings are being brought into your life as a result of Staying True to Yourself? What else are you Grateful for? Are you proud of the Person you are Becoming? (You should be!!)
I celebrate you!
